Who we are

Bristol QPOC Socials was founded by a Bangladeshi trans woman who wanted to find more spaces for QPOC in Bristol - there were no socials dedicated to QPOC at the time.

In January 2023, the first social was advertised on Facebook and brought the first 10 members. Month after month, with more members offering their help, and small grants being funded, more and more QPOC attended the events.

3 years later, the community has 200+ people involved with us running multiple events every month, helping QPOC make new friends, eat good food, get creative, and be there for each other as a community.

We are a grass-roots non-profit organisation, with a 100% QPOC organising team, running events exclusively for QPOC. If you are a queer person of colour living in Bristol and looking for community, come along to our socials or send us a message. This is a space for you!
